Guy Whittaker serves as Senior Vice President of Global Strategy & Lifecycle Management. Guy has been with CooperVision since 2005 (having joined with the Ocular Sciences acquisition) and has served in various marketing and general management roles, most recently as SVP Global Marketing and prior to that as VP of Marketing for APAC and as head of the ANZ, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia cluster of markets with general management responsibility. As SVP Global Strategy Guy's key responsibilities include CVI’s strategy and long-range strategic planning, new product and lifecycle management, business analytics and forecasting. Prior to joining CooperVision Guy served as Head of European marketing for Ocular Sciences, prior to that role Guy was head of European Professional Services for both Essilor Contact Lens Division and Ocular Sciences. Guy qualified as an optometrist in the UK and worked in hospital and private practice as well as for corporate optical chains and dedicated contact lens practices. While working in practice he taught part time on undergrad and postgrad optometry programs.
